Yet this boat is more than a fishing rig. The clever design combines fishing features with luxury and functionality for family-friendly recreational fun. From cruising to watersports, and of course, fishing, the boat has something for everyone. 

Within the 220 CC Adventure’s wide beam spanning 8’ 10” is a roomy cabin that gives anglers plenty of room to work, and family’s ample space to spread out. The boat has a transom height of 25 inches and draft of 14 inches. 

Here are just two of the many unique features. Boaters will appreciate the Easy Pump Access for quick access to livewell and wash-down pumps. The compartment is located behind the optional leaning post for easy access to inspect and maintain the pumps. Ahead of the console is a large storage compartment for gear that can accept a Porta Potti. 

Tidewater’s focus on ample, comfortable and quality seating in its boats is evident in the 220 CC Adventure. Snap in cushions on the port and starboard forward bench seats are surrounded by plush back rests for comfort and style. Remove the cushions for a smooth, solid casting platform. With attention to the details, there’s little chance of snagging lures on the deck, thanks to recessed handrails and cleats. You can stand on it for making pinpoint casts to visual targets. Also up front is an additional bench seat located forward of the console and storage compartment.

Anglers will like the 25-gallon blue gel-coated livewell to keep bait calm. High-speed aerator pumps maintain bait health by keeping fresh water circulating through the well. The well has a clear lid for instant inspection of the bait. 

On some coastal rigs rod storage is an afterthought. It’s a priority for Tidewater, which realizes today’s quality rods and reels are valuable investments to anglers. Combos are secure and ready for quick access using the exclusive Rod Protection System. You get six storage racks integrated solidly into the gunwale to keep rods firmly in place and out of harm’s way.

When it comes time for a dive, swim or wakeboard adventure the 220 CC Adventure delivers the features needed for safe, convenient fun. At the stern is a walk-through transom door and boarding ladder. Adequate gear storage helps keep deck space clean and safe.

Tidewater Boats are designed with distinctive Carolina Flair, setting up the dry ride, to direct waves away from the hull using reverse chines. Tidewater likes to appropriately call that feature the Dry Chine Ride.  

The smooth ride comes from the wave-shock absorbency of the Corrugated Grid Stringer Vertebra. Filled with foam to reduce noise and vibration, the stringer system works like a human skeleton to create a rigid, unified construction that tightly secures all of the internal parts. Those include fuel tanks, consoles, seating and storage compartments that are fastened to the stringer system. To ensure a solid, tight fit every stringer system is customized for each Tidewater model.

Another defining Tidewater feature is the Spray Relief Point. That is the point of impact on the hull deflecting water away from the boat. Multiple SRP areas enhance the characteristic dry ride of the Tidewater.
