Turnkey Classic Family Cruiser

This vessel is in very nice condition and represents the ideal Northeast/Mid-Atlantic family cruiser. Big enough to venture into open water with confidence and still easily sailed shorthanded with convenient furling and control lines for main and headsail led aft.

The cockpit is exceptionally comfortable for both the helmsperson in command of the folding wheel and electronic instrumentation at arms length. There is plenty of room for family and friends including a folding table for convenient dining. A large transom opening w/ steps makes ingress and egress a pleasure. The large sail locker swallows gear without a problem.

The main salon area includes a well equipped galley with refrigeration, microwave, 3 burner gas stove with oven and double stainless steel sinks. The dining salon seats six to eight and also features two comfortable armchairs with side table/storage and the joinery, cabinetry, and brightwork throughout is thoughtfully designed and of high quality. The two cabin layout offers complete privacy for two couples with a roomy Double berth forward and the spacious aft Stateroom has a massive Queen berth athwart ships with vanity, hanging locker and generous storage areas. To starboard a large well ventilated head with MSD, basin and separate shower can be accessed from the salon or master cabin.

Accommodations

The cockpit on this model is notable with 9' seats on either side with ample storage underneath. The walk through transom makes for convenient boarding from land or sea with long and wide swim ladder. Helm is perfectly proportioned with its folding wheel, instrument / pod binnacle and attached folding cockpit dinette table.

Walking down the companionway you have the galley to port, master cabin behind the bulkhead aft, entrance to the head to starboard and saloon followed by the V-berth forward. The aft facing Navigation center is just forward of the head and features full-size chart storage, stereo, AC/DC electrical panel and VHF.

The saloon offers a L-shaped settee, which converts into a double bunk and a settee to starboard, which converts into a single bunk. Convenient storage is outboard on either side for books, DVDs, games or anything else.

The galley has Adler/Barbour front and top access refrigeration, Princess 3 burner/oven gimballed stove, Microwave, H/C water pressure into two deep stainless steel sinks and great dry storage.

There are two private sleeping quarters on board in the fore and after most ends of the boat. The V-berth forward has great natural lighting and ventilation from the large Lewmar overhead hatch and two port windows. A cushion insert adds more volume to the large double bunk and storage comes from two drawers, hanging locker and cabinet. The aft master cabin fits a huge queen-size bed with plenty of lighting from two full-size overhead Lewmar hatches and hull ports.

Storage is plentiful from a large hanging locker, cabinet, outboard storage racks and other clever areas in the cabin. Apart from the queen-size bed, storage, fresh air and light this master cabin also features its own entrance into the head for greater privacy. .
