TRADES CONSIDERED

Gear up for the sophisticated style and power of the Grand Banks 49 Eastbay HX. Sporting a hull shape that redefines performance, the 49 Eastbay HX is an express cruiser that can take on rough seas and still provide the comfort and luxury that you expect from a Grand Banks. With mid twenties cruising speeds, this 49-foot gem will fill the captain and guests with pride - and everyone else with envy.

Built by Grand Banks Yachts and designed in partnership with C. Raymond Hunt, this deep-V hull provides for superior performance, speed and safety. As one might expect, a quiet ride is also one of the benefits of an Eastbay-style fast cruiser no matter what the speed.

Given its generous proportions, the 49 Eastbay HX offers more room than others in its class. A luxuriously appointed main salon provides a comfortable area for dining, relaxing and entertaining. The master stateroom is located all the way forward and features a private head with stall shower. The guest stateroom is located to port with a full-size head to starboard.

All interior packages and equipment  make standard use of varnished, handcrafted teak. Engine room access is on the center-line and through a hydraulic lift settee in the cockpit.

Overall, each functional appointment makes cruising a breeze.  This is a beautiful yacht that has been lightly used by her current and prior owners. In her previous life she was used as a commuter yacht between the mainland and an isle just offshore during the summer and for her nearly all her life stored inside. This yacht is well maintained and presents herself exceptionally for her age. Priced competitively, this yacht offers great value for a well built long distance cruising yacht.
