1980 Wasque Hardtop
This is a unique opportunity to own a classic that has been beautifully and METICULOUSLY restored to better than new condition. In fact, the only thing that has NOT been replaced on this beautiful classic is the hull and the original mahogany. The Wasque 26 is a versatile family boat that combines high technology with proven traditional design, aesthetics and sea keeping quality. This vessel is ideally suited for fishing, island hopping, towing a sailboat to the races sunset cruises and the occasional overnight.
The Wasque 26 traces its lineage to the Downeast style bass boats built by the John Alden Co. to ply the often boisterous waters of Buzzards Bay and Nantucket Sound. This vessel will cruise at 20 knots at 2400 RPM and have a top speed of 24 knots. She is dry, stable and comfortable in a seaway but maneuverable and predictable in tight quarters. The large cockpit can accommodate family and guests for outings on the bay or ocean.
A great boat for the person looking for a true like-brand new classic.
